Information regarding NYC Agency Meeting
At this time, our office is asking members of the community and those who have interest to volunteer as Budget Delegates for this year’s Participatory Budgeting cycle to attend a NYC agency meeting. For those individuals who have already expressed interested in volunteering as Budget Delegates or are interested volunteering to serve as a Budget Delegate, we will be holding our informative City Agency meeting on December 4th, 2017 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at the Kew Gardens Community Room located at 80-02 Kew Gardens Road, 2nd Floor, Queens, New York 11415.
This information session will include an overview of each agency’s capital eligibility process, the types of capital projects covered by each agency, examples of recent capital projects, and ideas for existing projects that could be supplemented with PB funding. At this meeting, you will have an opportunity to discuss your project ideas with the NYC agency responsible for administering the project. If you plan on serving as a Budget Delegate, our office recommends that you please R.S.V.P. and attend the following scheduled meeting.

Anyone who may have not signed up to be a Budget Delegate or could not attend one of the neighborhood assemblies, but has interest in getting involved with the Participatory Budget, is encouraged to attend the meeting at the Kew Gardens Community Room. After this informative session, our office will contact those who have volunteered to be a budget delegate and let them know when the next scheduled meetings will be held.
