MTA Holds Bus Redesign Workshop In Bayside

The MTA recently held a Bus Redesign Workshop at Korean Community Services, 203-05 32nd Ave. in Bayside on February 20 for input and feedback from the community on its Queens Bus Redesign Draft Plan released in January.

NYC Councilman Paul Vallone, who attended the meeting, said, “Great to see the community come out in force on Thursday to voice their concerns over the service cuts in the MTA Bus proposal. We need everyone to continue to let the MTA know what we need in Northeast Queens. This is the first of many workshops taking place in Eastern Queens. Find the complete workshop schedule (below) and stand united as we tell the MTA: We need a better plan!”

The meetings are co-sponsored by NYS Senators John Liu and Leroy Comrie; Assemblymembers Edward Braunstein, David Weprin, Nily Rozic, and Clyde Vanel; and Councilmembers Barry Grodenchik and Paul Vallone; in conjunction with Reps. Grace Meng and Thomas Suozzi.
